The original plan was to replace the disintegrated rear rails with new factory style replacements (hence this super accurate mock up) but that idea was ditched due to mounting locations and the super limited rear tire width options.
Ultimately 5 inches were chopped out of the center to keep all factory suspension geometry untouched.
Competition Engineering frame rails and a lil bit of steel and we have a new weld in rear section to mount the irs subframe to.
